Bruce Power Charity Tourney Raises $165K
The 16th Annual Bruce Power Charity Golf Tournament is being hailed as a huge success.
It was held on Friday (August 11th, 2017) at Saugeen Golf Club in Southampton.
The Tournament raised $165,000 for hospital medical equipment, surpassing the 2016 total of $150,000.
Over the past 15 years, the annual event has now raised approximately $1.5 million.
The 165 thousand dollars will be split equally between the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation and the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Saugeen Memorial Foundation Executive Director, Sally Kidson, says they are thrilled with how successful this event was and are very grateful to Bruce Power for sponsoring the tournament.
Canada Forgings (CanForge) proudly participated in this event through a ‘host –a-hole’ sponsorship. Golfers had an opportunity to win a Pro series Napolean BBQ, as well as the ‘much coveted’ CanForge sledge hammers.
Congratulations to the tournament organizing committee and Bruce Power for such a worthwhile event.
